  I don't think nintendo had any intention whatsoever of releasing TVii in Europe! 👎
  
  (We still don't even have the basic UK iptv lineup yet) 😏

  I doubt they were ever going to release it. In America, it is relatively easy to do - you only have 1 or 2 big providers. In Europe, you are dealing with 10s of providers per country who offer 1000s of channels in 40 languages.
  
  And let's not forget that very few people have a WiiU...
