Brummie refers to the people of Birmingham, not the place, Birmingham is known as Brummagem. My in-laws are Brummies.

Noddy isnt a Brummie (but you knew that anyway) Noddy has a Black Country accent, much harsher than anyone from Brum

He's from Walsall which is in the Black Country and far nearer to Wolverhampton than Birmingham. No disrespect but anyone who actually comes from the area would know the difference. Actually here's an idea how about you go to BC (Mordor :p) and call someone a Brummie and see what happens. :)

There are few places less well named than Paradis Forum. The sooner B'ham council can afford to blow it up the better.

It was set in the (fictitious) suburb of King's Oak, to the south of Birmingham :)

Isn't there a real King's Heath and Selly Oak, so a mix of the two?

Does Brummie get enough credit ?
It is after all...... population wise... Britains second city .
    It has 6 Universities ....
Someone said it has more canals than Venice
Its the hub of the Motorway network ...

    William Shakespeare was a Brummie

It maybe still is the centre of Britains Motor Industry
It has two clubs in the Premier League

With all this and a thousand years of history it should be a major
    tourist centre too !

.... but have you ever been to Brummie ?

No he wasnt. He was born in Stratford Upon Avon, which is in Warwickshire. I'm saying that as a Brummie:D
