    Mega Shark v Crocasaurus.

Saw it on Movies24 a few months back. Appalling film, really, really disappointing. With such an epic name and an airing on such a high quality channel, I was expecting Oscar-class cinema. In reality, the plot was laughable, the dialogue was as bad as that heard in Attack of the Clones, the 'special effects' were an insult to my intelligence and the acting was atrocious.

    6/10.

A toss up between Grease 2, Superman 4, or Speed 2.

All dreadful movies that I can't separate.

    That's one of my favourites!

    So bad it's a 6/10? You're saying you haven't seen a worse film than a 6/10?

    /thread.
Plus one!! For a big budget movie, it's almost unwatchable. Bad script, bad action and bad acting!!

You mean Star Trek V: The Final Frontier with Spock's brother looking for God. I quite enjoyed that with the phoney God and Kirk asking "Why does God need a starship?" to travel! :D

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (which is death of course) was the one with the warmongering Klingon who set up Kirk and McCoy and had Bowie's wife, Iman, in it. :)

Training Day with Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.
Apparently Denzel got an oscar for his part in this rubbish.

Didn't think much of Madagascar 3. Even my two kids got fed up half way through.

Slept all through Crimson Tide and then discovered I was taking the flu the next day. Wouldn't be my type of film anyway

I did point out last time this thread was done that it's nuts to suggest something with a budget, qualified crew and made competently is likely to be the worst movie ever. There are many many zero budget exploitation movies that are completely unwatchable- Manos: The Hands of Fate, Ax Em, etc etc etc. There's one called Violent Shit, which at least does what it says on the tin. There's a video blog series here that goes into some detail about it if you're up for it: http://www.thecinemasnob.com/

E.T. The Porno, that's a good one, look it up. (Don't really!)

This thread is going off the limitations of what people have seen and is pretty much is talking about- Warner Bros-Disney-Fox-Universal-Sony-Viacom released product only, but even then... has anyone mentioned Michael Bay yet? ;)

The cinema snob review of Ax 'Em is pretty funny. Never seen it, but I'd assume it's bad. Really bad- http://thecinemasnob.com/2010/06/09/ax-em.aspx

No one has mentioned Quantum Apocalypse yet.

I bought this from CEX shop a few weeks back. It is definitely one of the worse films I have ever seen, I cannot believe it actually got made. College students would make a better job.

Trashy B movies aside over the last few years it has to be..well its a toss up between Avengers Assemble or The Dark Night Rises.

Probably the most vacuous films I have seen in a long long while. The whole Superhero genre has been plundered bare imo. All that is left is costumes and cold soulless CGI.

Unfortunately this is seen as high cinema these days, even by critics that sell their soul so geeks follow them (Kermode)

The geeks taking over cinema has backfired stupendously, all flashing lights and no substance.

Its nothing but trashy 80's TV sci-fi (Buck Rodgers and so on), with a massive CGI budget and without any depth of story of character. I long for the day when this god awful genre buggers off.

Nolan and Whedon put a turd in a cape and get away with it. And people say TV is dumbing down, (it isnt) Jesus..popular cinema has turned into kindergarten dress up.

I'd have to say The Thin Red Line - amazing cast but just soooooo dull and remains the only film I've ever walked out of the cinema on.
Also I went to see Horrid Henry the Movie with my kids - Oh My God that was awful. Insufferable little shits. If I could've gone into the movie screen and hacked them all to death with a blunt axe I would've. And Angelica Houston was in it!! She's brilliant!!

'The American is a great film, just not the Bournesque thriller it was unfairly marketed as.

I watched a movie called "Dark Tide" last night, a star vehicle for the lovely Halle Berry. That was bad, I gave it 2/10.

But that was ten times better than Sex in the City 2, so another vote here for that pile of excrement. Memorably awful in every possible way.
