I liked Circus but thought it was a bit underwhelming compared to ITZ and Blackout. Both of these albums had a definite experimental edge to them, a bit gritty and a bit risky. To me, 'Circus' was just a bit of a watered down version of the previous two albums.
Funnily enough, her two best albums IMO are the two she was heavily involved in with regards to either songwriting and/or producing. Hence why her label should let her loose and trust her to bring us some more great material!!
