I have a couple which I queued to get signed - the autobiography of the legend that is Murray Walker (who shook my hand!) and one of Michael Palin's travel books. We had a very informative 20-second conversation about The Life Of Brian!!!

I took my daughter to a Jacqueline Wilson book signing and she was thrilled to have a book signed personally to her by her favourite author.

I also went to the book launch of Carole Matthews latest book and she signed a book to me too.

I got a book signed by John Grisham plus a photo with him which was cool since he doesn't make too many public appearances

I have hundreds of signed books, including those signed by:

    J G Ballard
    Brian Aldiss
    Michael Moorcock
    Keith Roberts
    Graham Joyce
    Ramsey Campbell
    Jack Vance
    Roger Zelazny
    Thomas M Disch
    John Sladek
    Richard Cowper
    Ray Bradbury
    Clive Barker
    Richard Matheson
    Dennis Etchison
    George Clayton Johnson
    Dan Simmons
    Robert Bloch
    Philip Jose Farmer
    Fritz Leiber
    Christopher Lee

Of these I actually attended the signings by Ballard, Aldiss, Moorcock, Joyce, Campbell, Cowper, Farmer & Lee. Some were at conventions, some at Forbidden Planet in London. Joyce & Campbell were the most fun to meet, Lee the most perfunctory.
