im finding these 'homemade' productions better than the real series
though i guess it would never work on screen, as it keeps getting shoved down our throats how doctor who is a 'kids show'.

Change for change sake, SM was determined to have his "say" and asked for the Daleks to be re-designed. I am sure he had no hand in the re-designb but he must have given his approval to them. They are, in my opinoin, simply horrible. They look cheap, plastic and totally unconvincing as the most feared beings in the universe.
Well and good, but when have they ever been particularly convincing as the most feared beings in the universe? Maybe for a brief spell from 2005 to 2006, but they're short, shrieky bullies, with no opposable digits, who spend most of their time getting defeated!
Giving them an extra few inches of height and bulk, plus an actual victory to their name, is hardly blotching a pristine legacy of mindnumbing terror. They're more exciting than scary.
This, but the battered and rusty battle-scarred version, with various sharp blades on them as well. And in the flashbacks or intro it shows you them climbing over heaps of dead Time Lords.

 I'm sorry, who does what now?
The only good aspect is the RTD-era Daleks.
Which is what the OP is all about!

Oh my God, I saw this the other night. Really cringe worthy... I know its only a bit of fun, but he was brave to do that as an act :D
