If you don't like the major version bumps for minor features get the ESR version. It only updates to a new major version every 9 months or so. New releases come out on the same schedule as the mainstream Firefox but only contain security fixes instead of new features.
Version 24(.7) is the version currently listed on the ESR page, but version 31 is also an ESR and can be downloaded by modifying the links (which i've done below):

Been running this browser for a few days.
I know its Chinese origins.
so far I am impressed by Its start up & page loading times.
Far better than Chrome.

I ALWAYS use Revo to uninstall programmes.
The normal add & remove, leaves traces in registry etc
Traces in the registry is a not a big problem, it is the files that are left behind and if a uninstall do not get rid of those files then it is poorly produced and is difficult to uninstall.
i remember years ago with Norton internet security, trying to get of that from the system, thankfully it is better.
I use Revo myself, but a lot of people don't, so a good uninstaller should get rid of everything.
Just updated today and no problems at all with navigation. The only glitch is on the Add Ons uodate page, which tells me that the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in needs updating. However, when I press the update button I'm repeatedly returned to the same page. I have version 11.0.08.4 installed and a check within Adobe Reader informs me that no updates are available.
This happened with me the last time Firefox was update and, apparently, it was just a "blip" with the update server they use and, after a day or two, it righted itself and my Add Ons page showed that it was up to date. So I'll just sit back and hope that the same thing applies this time.

Linux (64bit)
Chrome and IE still fine. I don't run extensions or Mozilla Add-ons either.

Indeed, I prefer to know my data is safe, in the hands of MI6 and the NSA, thank you.

As a test I used Revo Uninstaller & all instances of it were removed.
Now re installed
Not much we can do about that sadly, but how do we know that this browser don't have anything hidden in it?
so it is difficult to uninstall if you have to use a third party uninstaller

Any more news?
There is a way to stop the nag update to 8.1. I forgot what it is but if you google about it you should find the way.
Thanks for the info, have manually updated.
Not much different apparently -

I've downloaded a couple of complex pages I've got bookmarked, but they load quickly anyway, so hard to tell about the HTTP caching improvements.

Only difference ive seen, is the right click menu on a page, has back, fwds, reload current page, and the star icons now along the top of it.
The context menu (when right-clicking) now has icons instead of text for back, forward, reload/stop loading and bookmark page.
Can't see any differences otherwise, though.
