Sorry but everytime I see Davis act I can't help but laugh even just by trailers, like a lot of Hollyoaks these days, they got rid of Brookie for that, if Phil Redmond was still producing it then I wouldn't be so harsh, its like an advert for a crap modelling agency these days.

Anyways Julie has this in the bag, brilliant actress.

At the end of the day, it is viewer voted, so it will go to the person with the most dedicated fans. It would be nice for Julie H to get rewarded, but it might be difficult since the storyline was at the beginning of the year.

I kind of think Julie Hesmondhalgh won't get it simply because she hasn't been on screen for four months now, whereas people like Lindsey Coulson have been part of a big story for months now and Lacey is hugely popular anyway, so they'll be in voters minds.

I think the nominations for Best Actress are incredibly strong this year. Julie is at a slight disadvantage as she has been off-screen for a while.

Lindsey Coulson should win. She is just phenomenal. Big fan of Lacey but she hasn't done anything yet worthy of an award. I think Julie H is a bit overrated. It will be the story rather than the performance that gets her the award if she does win.
