I've seen it advertised all week, but wasn't going to watch it. Just left C4 on after BB. I'm gripped! Wonder where it's filmed. Probably south London.
I'm a nurse and when I was a student I did my community placement in Peckham, which really opens your eyes I can tell you! We were based on the Aylesbury Estate and it reminds me of there. I lived in the Southwark council area for those three years, although it was Dulwich so wasn't exactly in the thick of it! Even so, some of the places you go through on the old 176 really set the scene for some of the things you hear on the news.
I've seen him something before I think. Just can't place it. Think the bit on the bus isn't quite true to life. Nobody on that bus would have turned around to look at them, even when being confronted. Only when that direct conflict with Lennie James twisting his arm would people have looked at them.

There is something about him that is crying out for a little love and understanding!!
And I feel like the youths today are soooo like him...
A hug won't sort it - but it may go a good way!!!
The bus incident lol one of the reason why i never go upstairs on Buses, when i am forced to due to tube delays.
I googled it and got this, an interesting read but not entirely spoiler proof so keep clear if you hate spoilers!

Lennie James on top form as always.
They haven't shown that they are using drugs or anything...
And was her mum alive!! Didn't even look around as her daughter dragged her man in the house!
I know, that really touched me.
Yea
I know, sad
I think I saw her on BBC3, but yeah she is familiar.
I think she was in one of the new BBC three test pilots.
