when involved in rumours or a incident of some sort ( such as a feud, cheating, a new relationship etc.) they will never address the issue directly but will post cryptic tweets and pics on instagram containing quotes, religious or otherwise. and when they do deliver public statements, they never go into too much detail.

    They like the attention that the mystery gets them! If they write 'Yes, we have split up' or whatever' then everyone thinks "OK." and moves on. We of course know that plenty of ordinary folk like being similarly cryptic for the same reasons on social networking sites!
