When I watched the opening ceremony, I was a wreck. My late husband was so looking forward to this and I was really down (because he died 9 months before and my mum died 2 days before). Then when they played Danny Boy, I was in complete tears (Danny was his name). But the ceremony was absolutely brilliant and seeing behind the scenes was fascinating. When I was young, I dreamed of being a choreographer. I loved dancing. Debbie Allen (Fame TV show) was my idol and I wanted to be like her. Alas, my dream never came true. I didn't want to watch this because I'm not keen on Alan Yentob, but this was superb.
