It's a fresh start for Waterloo Road, with the arrival of dynamic new head teacher Karen Fisher. Karen's first challenge at the school arrives in the form of the Kirbys – sixth former Jonah and 13-year-old genius Ruth, who have both been homeschooled by their father, Marcus. Marcus's ex-wife, Hannah, wants her children to experience mainstream schooling, but he has little faith in the state education system. While Jonah relishes the opportunity to make new friends and have new experiences, high achiever Ruth feels she's got little to learn – she soon takes matters into her own hands and runs away

Well, the previous Head said she was leaving at the end of the last series.. and over the holidays a replacement has been selected. Simples
It needs to have a complete makeover imo and I don't know if they're going to take it that far.
Also, how can you teach a whole school with 5 teachers?
I dont know how she kept her job! but i missed quite a bit last series with them messing with the times and stuff
