Key Points

Posh:
“I’m so respectful of my past and I love the other girls.

"We have some fantastic fans. Who knows, maybe some day we’ll do something else with the Spice Girls. I would love nothing more.

“I don’t know about a comeback tour but I loved being back with the girls.

“There was a lot of fun, we did so much together and we’ll see. If they’re up for something then I certainly am.”

We are so proud to be English and we are very excited about the Olympics.”

Geri is planning on wearing a version of the infamous Union Flag dress
    • They will reportedly sing two songs, one of which will be Wannabe. (My guess at the second would be Viva Forever to promote their musical of the same name opening in November - Official Website)

So we have a 5% chance that common sense will prevail?:(

The Spice Girls were crap when they were famous, wheeling them back out as 30/40 year olds to perform fluffy perky tween pop will be horrible.

After his shocking performance at the Diamond Jubilee Concert, Paul McCartney is doing it too.

Britain will be an international laughing stock.:(

I think that Russell Brand singing and a bunch of stripping lollipop ladies has already seen to that.

I don't get why people get so angry that music exists that they don't like. How self-obsessed do you have to be?

It's like going to a restaurant and noticing there are things on the menu you don't wish to eat.

'OMG...I completely hate salmon and dislike red wine   '

One of the biggest selling and most-successful girl groups of all time, so why not? They would be such a coup for the show.

Thats not how it is at all. If we are supposed to be showcasing what is best about the UK , The Spice girls and Paul McCartney are not it. imho. Both acts are well past it. The music is fine....its just the performers.

They are the best-selling female group of all time.

      also

"Ginger, Baby, Scary, Posh and Sporty were the most internationally recognised group of individuals since John, Paul, George and Ringo" David Sinclair, Rolling Stone.

      also

Viva Forever with a huge stage production would be epic.

The only thing that counts in the olympics is the drug fueled running skipping and jumping and I will not be watching that so a jamboree with old farts is irrelevant

      UPDATE:

People who know me on the boards know that I can usually be trusted in the matters of Spice and I don't mean to alarm you but I do believe that this is going to be confirmed shortly.

Well, put it this way, I have heard from an extremely reliable source that all five have now officially agreed.

      Just sit tight. Exciting!
