After 3 years of trying to get a job.. I have finally got a job interview on Tuesday Afternoon. I was told by their recruitment team that they have over 2,000 people to see this week for the one job.
I just hope I make the right impression to get this job as I am getting fed up of trying and trying to get a job and getting nowhere, but even if I don't get this one I might get the next one that comes along..... Here's hoping.

I don't believe for one minute they plan to see them all
Well done OP for having a CV/application that stood out enough to get you an interview.
Seems like 2000 stood out.
A ridiculous waste of time for the vast majority, also haven't the people organising this got better things to do.
Well, even if there are a lot of candidates, you got an interview. So well done on that, and good luck for your interview next week.
The interview lasted all of five minutes and didn't even give me a chance to speak. All I got from when he looked at my application form was I wasn't good enough. How the hell does he know I'm not good enough. They wanted somebody with experienced. Give me the ****ing job and I would get the experience and training. The final insult came when he told me that they were looking for someone who is 25 - 30 years old.
The feeling I got was they don't want to train anybody up and how they are going to get someone who is experienced in Retail Security as the age is 25 for that and how is he going to be experienced.
If it makes you feel better. I have potentially lost a job and me being the idiot I am told my friend about this job and she then went to tell our other friend about it who went to tell her sister. All 3 have interviews today. I'd kick myself if they get the job.
