Got a question for you. What would you do if you found a computer frozen at the POST screen, unable to use the keyboard and mouse and found the ports on the back of the machine does't have PS2 Connections?. This keeps happening despite a system reboot

P.S. I did get this working.

I'd call someone who may have a scooby doo's on the idea and pay them £30/hr

we don't have the system infront of us, for all i know it could be that someone has upgraded the cpu and the bios hasn't been told about it.

Go into the BIOS and make sure legacy USB is on?

Remember that Ronnie Corbett sketch, a sort of reboot of four candles: "My blackberry is frozen" when he puts a blackberry (fruit) on the counter?

Yawn....we was expecting a decent tale of bios level debugging with pictures of cute cats helping out etc..

    Here's another...but it's automotive

Car runs for a very short time then stops. All red lights on. Will not restart.

    RAC Homestart called.

Car starts straightaway, runs round block. RAC man leaves.

We try to go to the supermarket again, car conks out again.

RAC man is contacted (either he gave his mobile number or call centre tracked him, he wasn't far away)

Car is fine, and he leaves again.

We try once more and car conks out and RAC man returns.

This time we suss the simple fault.

    But what was it?

Only one of you were going to St Ives?

    It was all a dream?

(Something similar used to happen with my old Mini. Electrical fault somewhere but never did find out where...)

    Wrong key? Dodgy seatbelt lock?

    Wrong key.

RAC man always got the good key.

I always used the spare key with duff RFID chip.

What make of car relies on which key you are using? Mine (Nissan) just has buttons to lock/unlock the doors.
