HDR 2000T dongle
After reading through the posts on using the Humax Portal I bought an Edimax EW 7612 UAn V2 preferring this a black version of the 7711 according to the spec sheets.
The adapter connects to the PC (which is upstairs) and finds quite a few more nearby wifi APs than my laptop wifi card. However, when placed in the HDR I cannot get it to connect to the PC as the option to connect via wifi remains greyed out.
I bought the HDR to replace a 9300 and not specifically to use the Portal with its limited performance but a chance to use BBC iPlayer would be welcome.
I am probably missing a trick somewhere so any advice would be appreciated.
