RIPCILLA sounds like a dinosaur. RIPCILLA v GODZILLA...the rematch. In Heaven presumably.

Very strange that this isn't the top story on the news yet. Surely they could have confirmed it by now.

Sky and bbc still not reporting it normally hot on the heals of news like this.

So sad the quick out pouring of tributes says a lot

Her family may have asked for the news to be held back until a certain time whilst friends/relatives are informed, but newspapers ran with it anyway.

Surely that is not true there is nothing on the news.
perhaps it is a hoax in poor taste.

I won't even comment on the ridiculous stories on this website of people copying others with stories of her being horrible of which i am sure half of which aren't even true. If anyone's not got anything nice to say please keep it away from here.

People have their own minds and opinions. Sorry, but just because someone dies, it does not automatically exonerate them

If it's confirmed, at least she got to see the biopic made and seemed to approve. No, I wasn't a fan either but am sad for her family and I won't used this thread to score points. Anything I've said remains elsewhere. She hasn't seemed well and, as someone said, by today's standards, 72 is quite early to go.

In her later years on TV I could not stand her but in the sixties I though she was the bees knees.

I guess a tribute thread would be a bit hypocritical given her reputation on this site.

I've been here 9 years and haven't a clue what you are talking about. There have already been some pretty snide comments on this thread by a few sick t* *'s. Totally uncalled for.

It's a huge domestic story so the broadcast media who have Ofcom on their case had to be sure.

What ever way anyone looks at, Cilla is a tv/music showbiz icon.

How sad. 72 is pretty young these day's.

I have no idea if she was a nice person in "real life" or not but can people please keep in mind that members of her family may well stumble on this thread in the coming day's...
