Don't think i've ever known anyone else mention Annie - Chewing Gum before.
    Great song!!!!

I love that tune great memories from 2004

can you provide examples ? not being funny or owt, but many see the golden age of dance as the 90's, not the 00's, and going by your username id have thought that youd agree :)

    Certainly.

DT8 Project Feat. Andrea Britton - Winter

    Alex Gold - Better Dayz

    Interstate - I Found You
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La5e4X5sCMA

The only thing that changed with Trance from the 90s is it went Underground in the 2000's , it still is well the pure and proper sound of Trance that is ;)

Nowadays i listen Deep Progressive cause that's were the real feeling of Trance exists nowadays , the elements are really there.

    Airdraw - Jubilee

And one of my all time favourite Trance tunes , which was released in 2008.

C-Systems - Close My Eyes (Lemon & Einar K Remix)

Thing i disliked about many 90s trance tracks was the poor compression , where as now its soo much better , since 2002 onwards the quality in Trance really improved and with the evolution of technology it actually improved the production quality of it.

There was a number of good tracks from this era. Also has to be said it was the era the provided the last lot of dance music I enjoyed, but I was between 13-15 at the time so maybe that's why I enjoyed some of it.

Nothing beats the tracks of the 90s, bests era, the older I get the more I appreciate it.

    fair comment :)

although i prefer the material produced 96-02.

think trance went out of fashion, so many great tracks post 02 just dont get aired/known outside the dedicated clubs/gigs.

All mainstream dance music from the 90's til the mid to late 2000s were all decent , however if you want to hear decent dance music from the present day you must look outside the mainstream , the underground scene has alot to offer , the newly relaunched Dance radio station Pure Dance is set to relaunch later this year so maybe the interest for proper Pure Dance music may rise again.

I believe we're the first to mention this on DS , surprised its not even been mentioned yet considering in the past there were numerous topics about it years ago. :p

However we'll only be online and not DAB or Cable/Satellite.
