I think if they were they wouldn't be causing the furor they are now, not only here but in the States also. She also tried to cut him off numerous times during that conversation, and if she was trying to make herself look good she would have mentioned something to the other housemates, or at least to BB about how she disagrees with him.

I don't think anyone is unaware of the influence of religion in society, but are you actually saying that every single person who classes themselves as a Christian automatically thinks of homosexuality as a sin (or a choice as was Evander's case) because it's in the bible? The Bible says a lot of things, and some people follow it more strongly than others. How come this whole furor over Evander's views on homosexuality didn't come about until he actually said them? If they were so glaringly obvious as you suggest then surely people would have started having an issue on the first night when he said "I'm a Christian". However not everyone jumps to the conclusion of "doesn't agree with homosexuality" as soon as they hear those words.
And FYI I know plenty of people who are unaware of what the bible says, or what certain religions believe. Some people weren't raised around any kind of religion and have just never taken an interest in it. It doesn't mean someone isn't "up past their bed time".
Sorry if this has already been talked about, but I get the impression she is trying to play the airhead role which most people (who have seen the apprentice) will know her voice may be cutesy, she definitely isn't an idiot and survived to the final 2??
