DCS 313 problem

Hi there all, I just got my Pioneer DCS 313 home theatre system back after repair, however when playing dvd it goes from full screen to a "squashed" version, and when I click the display button it tells me this function is not allowed to run, or something along these lines, I have my sky connected straight to the tv, as I do my dvd player, what should I do?

    Have a look in the DVD's menu for a TV setting 4:3 or 16:9.
    Or press the wide or 16:9 button on the TV handset and see if the picture looks correctly proportioned.

    have put dvd to 16:9 it stays wide screen for a bit, then changes back. I iwll try tv menu, but the remote is bust, so i guess manual is have to be the way.

    there is no such option on the tv I am afraid.

    You say the DVD has just been repaired. How was the same DVD disc's playback before the repair?

    it went full screen, I guess its a setting or something.
