You really can't tell it was made in the sixties...
Mind you the countdown at the end is silly, it must take two minutes to get from 24 seconds to 13 seconds lol!:D
The Dalek time unit is the REL, which is probably short for relativistic. Having few emotions, you see, they have to ACTUALLY change the unit of time passing to fit the ongoing situation. Time flies when you're having fun.
There were plans to make a third film based on The Chase

I was surprised earlier to find that they're only available on DVD.
I believe they are scheduled for later this year:)
Thanks! I look forward to pre-ordering online.
Its a great moment in both the film and the original serial, but seriously wtf!
Sadly Bradley Walsh was unavailable so it was cancelled.
Checking for bodies?
Was it trying to copy Bond girl Ursula Andress's famous coming out of the water entrance in Dr No ?
I didn't realise there were mountains near Bedford.
Unless it was set in 'Pete Tylers parallel universe' ?
At the time that sequence was filmed for the series the Thames was fairly polluted - there were a number of precautions made in case he swallowed any water.
(I believe the reason why the Dalek was in the water was explained in the book, but it is a long time since I read it.

Close ups of the hideous reptile like creature should be avoided!
