The Finale averaged 5.94 million viewers, the lowest ever final ratings. What a wimper for the show to go out on. :o:o

    That is pretty poor. Hard to believe the very first final had something like 13 million viewers.

    Once the line up was announced, there was no need to watch - we all knew who had won. Throw the manipulation on top and it all becomes rather tedious to watch.

    The ratings are far higher than the show deserved.

    They should have done an ordinary series to bow out the main series and perhaps done a special for former champs etc at Christmas.

    Considering it was one of the best DOI shows (if not results show) there has been - people missed out on a treat. Some fabulous dancing and great moments.

    I think series 9 should have been a normal series then the show finish in 2015 with series 10 being a champion of champion mini series
