Hey peeps, just de-lurking to give my opinion on this gig. Being that Hotel Cafe is a small venue (165 capacity?), it's best if we allow the US guys enjoy this. Don't you guys want him to have maximum exposure? Imagine what's it like if one of those who's unable to get a ticket turns out to be someone in the business ...
It's ok I have no intention of going, but if I were to find myself in LA at a future date, I would go to this place for an evening, regardless of Matt not being there.:D I agree with you in fact; I think it would be great if it was full of locals. Both his American fans (I saw on Facebook a few have already booked tickets) and also Americans who have never heard of him but will be there just because the venue has a reputation for good music or they are supporting another artist on the same night. From what I have read it is 165 seated but they allow standing at the back and it increases capacity to 250.
His tweet makes it sound as if something bad has happened but yeah, probably just about to go on a plane!
I don't think he would go on-line and tweet about something really bad in a serious sense. He's just frustrated about something and it's probably minor.
Anyone read the FAQs on their website - funniest questions and answers I have ever read for a FAQs section of a website. They have a great sense of humour.
