Had KFC tonight. Can't say I like it as much as I used to, either to fatty or to dry.

Tonight we are having pork chops cooked with lashings of black pepper (gawd in love black pepper).

I will serve them with tomato and basil pasta and a crusty buttered roll.

    Delish.

I love it too, I just feel like I'm being lazy sometimes not thinking about something fabulous to make. You've made me think about fresh crusty bread though, so I'm going to get some to go with it. :D

Pasta and bread on the same plate, oh my thighs!!! But stuff it, I'm old lady now, who cares.

Either pesto pasta with a bit of bacon and lots of veg. Or chicken and cous cous with pesto. I get the feeling the veg could do with being used today, but as I am going to the gym first, I can't be bothered with doing a longer prep when I get in. Granted, it's only 5 mins prep, as compared to about 1, but still!!

I LOVE gnocchi! I haven't had it in ages. I really got into it on a holiday once, years ago, where they were serving it with a gorgonzola sauce. I am dribbling a little thinking of it. :o

I had it once on holiday with mushrooms, artichokes and parmesan n a kind of broth, with bread. It sounds simple but it was really gorgeous and I've never been able to recreate the broth.

    It sounds absolutely gorgeous! Yummy!

I shouldn't come on here, because then I want something completely different for my tea, from what I have in my fridge!!

Curried sweet potato gnocchi? That sounds bloody wonderful! What sauce would you have with that? I'm guessing a homemade tomato sauce would be good?

I actually had it sauceless. I fried it up with some vegetables and some spices and it was great! I can PM you the link to the recipe if you want?
