Interesting to note that after the unfortunate death of Marion Simmons (who chaired the original CAT Tribunal which heard the Rapture Appeal and issued its Judgement in March), Marion Simmons was replaced as Chairman for this Request for Permission to Appeal by Lord Carlile. The other 2 members of the Tribunal remained the same.
Obviously Lord Carlile would come to a decision based on law and the facts of the case. But it's interesting to note that he is a former Lib Dem MP, a Party which certainly tends to not have a particularly favourable view towards the operations of Rupert Murdoch.
