I can name a few who should not have been put through this girl was really good i dont like that type of music but her voice was outstanding. How the hollyoaks girl, the couple and the other duet with attitude in wills team got through over this girl i don't know.
We were there at that audition, the final one, and it's not quite as it's been portrayed on the telly.
There were only 2 spots left right at the start of that audition, not 4 or 5 as the show said. They've swapped acts about to make it look more interesting, whereas it was actually quite disappointing as 10 (potentially good) people were always going to be unsuccessful.
Bronwen was excellent in real life, but I don't think singing in Welsh helped her, as Tom's team was already full and that's who she was aiming for.
I was incredibly disappointed by the last guy, and Will went on for a good 5 minutes about the hand clapping nonsense, so I think he was as well if truth be known. I can't see the final guy getting through the next rounds.
Was wondering when Danny asked Will and Jessie to explain why they didn't turn did Jessie give an explanation?
She was the BEST thing by far on a seriously lame show.I know that only two judges were involved but for ffs,she had THE voice.Who cares if she sang half the song in Welsh. That gave it a whole extra dimension for me.Jesse J is always preaching about diction and 'breaving',and Bronwen certainly had no troubles with them.Yet Jesse turned around for the girl who had totally mumbled diction and was breathless by the time she got from the audition room to the stage.
I completely agreed with Danny.I was ANGRY that those pair of mutton heads ignored her. Those two have always been my least favourite judges, and that just increased by tenfold.
Hopefully she will be more noticed on other shows,or even better, someone in the industry will have seen the audition and give her a chance to see exactly what she can do in the studio without having to go through a debacle like that.
they would have turned if she was put earlier in the series...
Some really good voices were at a major disadvantage in this last show because only two of the judges had a place to fill.
On watching the repeat tonight when that Philippine chap had to chose between Jessie and Tom, if only he'd chosen Jessie, Tom would then be still left with one place to fill and Bronwyn would have a place.

the filipino chappie knew his mum would like him to pick tom, though reggie yates wasn't too sure, lolz!!:D

Another reason for me not to like the Filipino then!
It seems to me that Jessie and Danny aren't really up to this job. Danny seems to need reassurance all the time.and comes across as not knowing his own mind and Jessie as being intimidated by talent. I wasn't surprised at all that she didn't turn round for this well above par singer as I think she simply wouldn't know what to do with her.
I'm sure Bronwen will have people interested in her on the back of this and will surely get signed but for the credibility of the show they really need new coaches.
You say Jessie didn't turn because she is intimidated by the talent? Then why didnt Will turn? There is nothing Jessie has said to any of the contestants to suggest that she is jealous. Stop projecting.
I had to post when I saw this thread. My goodness that voice. It was so pure and gorgeous. Jessie's inability to spot her unique talent made her look ridiculous. Mind you, I have no doubt the outcry over it will do Bronwen no harm at all!

Where did I say jealous Projection indeed
I'm happy to give my opinions on why Will didn't turn seeing as you asked. I didn't in my post because I thought it was a free for all forum not an equal opportunities debating society.
Will didn't turn for similar reasons. He didn't have a clue what to do with an act like Bronwen and is massively competitive and very much open with this. He seriously wants to win and obviously didn't think he could with Bronwen. .
If she wasn't what hey wanted now she probably wouldn't have been earlier.
2 mentors could have turned this time but made a conscious decision not to.
I agree. I do however believe Tom may have turned round even if not for the right reasons that is because she sang in Welsh and he may have felt like he had to. Danny possibly because of his Celtic roots and her style but similarly he might have felt like he had to. As for genuinely wanting her I'm not sure any of them would. She is far too polished and fixed in one style for them to deal with on a reality TV talent show voted for by the public.
I am however convinced she will get a deal as there is an audience out there for her and she's ready to record now tbh.
I don't speak Welsh, and it didn't alienate me. I was listening to the quality of her voice.
But, you're not the one who was going to have to mentor her. As far as I'm concerned she nailed her colours firmly to the mast when she sang in Welsh. Rightly or wrongly if I was a judge I would naturally assume that she wanted to go into Tom's team and would not have bothered turning. Why risk having someone who has made it clear that you would have been her second choice? I'd much sooner concentrate on someone who really wanted to be in my team.

She does have an agenda regarding the Welsh Language

But since the judges couldn't see this, I was surprised they didn't turn round because as I say Bronwen's voice had a lovely quality and tone to it.
Would happily swap her for any of the girls that got through last week - especially the ex Hollyoaks actress who was massively overrated.

This is the truth!
Why is the format at fault? You can only blame the judges.

I liked the Hollyoaks girl, but for shallow reasons.
At first I thought that link might've been one of those angry Hitler film spoof videos! 'Hitler reacts to Bronwen getting rejected on The Voice'. Ha.

But not Will too?
You don't know that for sure
