I recently bought Midnight Express for 99p and its a very good film about a drug courier being imprisoned in a Turkish Hello Hole for more than four years before he escaped.

John Hurt had a good part in it, I am sure many of you may have seen it.

The Fountain, cause I'm on a Hugh Jackman fest after Les Miserables.

Going to watch it tonight. :)

I know it was panned by the critics and was released aeons ago, but I also bought Deception and really enjoyed it for a lightweight criminal caper.

I love that film. I first watched it when I was about 9, and then only for the second time two weeks ago. Loved it both times. My brother really recommends the book, he says it's compelling reading.

I can't remember the last time I bought a DVD, but tomorrow I'm ordering the box set of the first three Spartacus series - Gods of the Arena, Blood and Sand, and Vengeance. Can't wait til War of the Damned gets released.
