Technophobe needs Photobox help!

I am creating a photobook on Photobox.co.uk and am having difficulty with some photos.
Its a wedding album and I want a few photos as a full page. All photos are the originals from the photographer and are - I believe - of a good quality and a high resolution, however I'm only getting a 'medium' face when I place them in the book.
A colleague of mine managed to do something with regards resaving a photo to make it appear as a higher resolution which has worked, however this woman is no longer available and I'm on a deadline.
Can anyone help? I don't really know where to start :S
