It's getting to that time of the year again.
I think it's meant to be next week that we get to start seeing some new phones announced, according to the rumour websites.
The ones I am most interested to see will be the Nexus 5 2015 and the One plus 2 - both sound like they could be amazing phones.
What phone are you interested in seeing launched?

Moto X 2015 28/7/15
Xiaomi Mi 5 5/8/15
Nexus 5 2015 Autumn
I'm not as interested as I would be in years gone by as phones are becoming more similar and most of the information has already leaked. I am looking forward to USB type C on the nexus 5 though as I believe it will be the full USB 3.0 implementation of it with slimport etc.
i dont think theres a workaround ,,,,,,,,, other than buying a new phone
will the newer moto g support this feature ?
or am i better off looking on gumtree for a galaxy s2/3 on the cheap ?
it worked at my own home (on my home network ) the chromecast needed it.
but not at a home with no internet
Another leak?
The Sony Z5C interests me.
Sony Z5C will be interesting but I'm not sure what will be an improvement other than a complete redesign. Snapdragon 810 will spoil it and it is probably too soon for Snapdragon 820. The screen size is about right and if they make that FHD that is probably just going to waste power and deliver no noticeable gain.
A Nexus 5 successor and a Nexus 6 successor.
Battery doesn't look very big either ... if correct?
Waiting to see if it's announced and what the new Moto X might be later this month. I'd like to see a bigger battery and a brighter display and the same 5.2" ...... and a sale soon after release

So a metal frame but the same usual swappable covers with similar options as last year, dual sim under back cover.
Laser auto focus, dual led flash.
Fingerprint scanner on the front.
I've heard it might be the 610 clocked 1.7 GHz. If Tesco mobile sell it, I might be tempted to upgrade early in Dec/Jan time.
Does anyone known if they can be unlocked? If so they could be a really good buy. That said Wow how big is that Smart Ultra 6 screen!
Alcatel Idol 3 5.5" Dual SIM 32Gb ~ 300 Euro. I'm a big fan of dual SIM phones.
With the exchange rate this is about £220 from Amazon.de. Reviews say it's a good mid price spec'd phone. Runs 5.0.2 but it will be updated to 5.1.

I'd be interested to see how it stands against the Moto G dual SIM variants that will appear later this year.
Not compared to the other devices being talked about, but in reality will be a bloody good phone for a significant percentage of mobile users who will be more than happy*, and only have to pay around £150-160 (I'm guessing, but going by earlier models - Edit: No, seems it might be a bit more - but we've been surprised before when rumours suggested a higher price than Motorola announced on the day - almost as if it leaked false information deliberately to get people in the room going 'Wow' and having something to Tweet as breaking news).
I do hope the new Moto X (or Xs) will be good though. I liked the Nexus 6 more than the X 2014, so the 2015 model should be a step up (maybe not screen size, but everything else).
* I do think there's a perception issue where some people assume the Moto G simply can't be any good for the money, so buy something more expensive anyway.
Again with the new Moto X's I'm not sure whether the improvements will be worth the money. I like the look of the Moto X sport but I can see the regular Moto X being similar to that of the G Flex 2, M9 and Z3+ where minor improvements have been made but Snapdragon 810 ruins it.
I hope I am wrong, the Moto X was my primary phone for most of this year and I loved the design but with features like VoLTE, VoWiFi not likely to come to the Moto X 2015 I think I will look elsewhere this year.
Definitely think I see this a lot with people who just use their phone for the basics. There seems to be this 'magic threshold' where if it didn't cost at least x amount, then it must be useless.
Its like my Nexus 4 - its a decent phone and with decent specs, however it does some strange things now, some of which I am sure are bugs with the latest OS and probably caused by a lack of memory / processing power. I think future proofing ...or attempting to is why some people spend more on phones.
Its like all these network branded mobiles - how future proof will they be?
