That's the one with the crap theme music isn't it?

(And less appearences of Diana Prince wearing glasses, but no one twigs she & WW bear a striking resembalance to one another, apart from the one episode in the previous series where the villians twig so!)

They're not looking at her face ;-)

    Just thought.

She sings in one episode, doesn't she?

Is this what is known as a 'contracual obligation' ?

Her first album had been released in 1978 a few months before the start of Season 3

Just watching the episode from today

She doesn't have access to her powers as Diana does she?

Interesting to see an obviously dressed for the cold Diana Prince transform into Wonder Woman's usual skimpy outfit!

Is it me or was the use of stunt doubles more obvious in this episode?

Well it's the end of the run.

Anyone note the 'other' teen idol in the final 2 parter, Ike Eisenman?

Notable other roles for him ISTR were The Fantastic Journey & the Disney 'Witch Mountain' films!

Also in the 2 parter was Jared Martin, who also appeared in the Fantastic Journey, but was best known as Dusty Farlow in the original Dallas.

Interesting to note in yesterday's episode, Steve Trevor was talking to who he thought was Diana on the phone, but when we cut to Diana's POV, she was already Wonder Woman! (If WW supposedly had the ability to impersonate people, wasn't she technically impersonating Diana at that point? )

The Sci Fi Channel (or SyFy) wasn't pure Science Fiction either. Besides which, it's owned by a completely different company. So to "relaunch" it in place of Horror Channel DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!

How exactly could CBS "relaunch" a channel which still exists (rebranded) on Sky and belongs to NBCUniversal?

Who said that Horror Channel is "supposed to show pure horror"? Show me the quote from CBS which states that.

Besides, a little SF and Fantasy on Horror Channel is much less incongruous than a History Channel which is filled with rubbish about rednecks running pawn shops.

They can't show horrific horror during the day. Doctor Who did have horror elements.

I suppose they could change the name to the Cult Channel which would fit all three genres we've mentioned
The Horror Channel should rebrand as CULT TV or something like that.

Not looked at this thread for a while, so only just saw those posts, first of which was a response to me. But good suggestions. :)

With stuff like this you just have to go with the flow don't you? But since superhero shows are fantasies, if you can't accept premises such as these, you probably shouldn't be watching them anyway.

However, once you get beyond this there needs to be internal consistency based on whatever "rules" apply to the characters.

There is a massive clue in the name of the channel itself, its called 'horror channel' its supposed to show HORRORRRRR programs and films and well excuse me if i didnt know that sy fy (another channel northing to do with sy fy)is owned by different people.

Sci fi programs and films should be on a different channel.

Channel names aren't all that literal anymore. The History Channel is full of programmes about pawn shops and storage units. MTV has stopped showing music programmes completely. At least Sci Fi and Fantasy are very closely related to Horror and have a crossover appeal.

As for Courage The Cowardly Dog, do you honestly think an obscure cartoon is going to appeal to many people? In what way have "do-gooders" suppressed that show while allowing some of the horrific violence in Doctor Who?

To be honest, I'm not sure Horror Channel is aimed at kids at all. Advertising is always the strongest indicator of the target audience and the channel's daytime adverts are clearly not for kid products. Programmes such as Doctor Who, The Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman seem aimed at nostalgic adults, rather than kiddies.

What a bizarre post. Some of the 70s and 80s episodes of Doctor Who are as violent as you're likely to see on daytime television.

The Horror Channel is not going to show anything extreme during the day due to the existence of broadcasting regulations. So, it can either show known SF/Fantasy brands such as Doctor Who and Wonder Woman or it can buy-in kid-friendly Horror stuff which hardly anybody would watch.

Honestly, The Groovie Goolies and The Little Vampire may seem more like "Horror" to those who are OCD about channel names. But no bugger would tune-in to that stuff on a regular basis.

The Horror Channel shows wall-to-wall Horror after the 9PM watershed - the time when any sane person would expect proper adult Horror to be shown.
