"Guest House Paradiso" and "Parting Shots" were
almost Platonic
Archetypes of Terrible Motion Pictures...
Also, "Lesbian Vampire Killers" has a very
dodgy title. "Lesbians" are as bad as "Vampires"?
"Lesbian Killers", and "Gay Men Killers",
are sadly, very real world horrors .
Er, I think you're over-analysing it. It could mean lesbians who kill vampires, not killers of lesbian vampires. Either way, it was just a feeble comedy by a pair of bad comedians. There's no point in trying to shoehorn it into some gay rights agenda.:D
I have tried about 6 times to watch that film I. Just. Cannot. Do. It.
My films to add to the list: Jackass the movie 1, 2. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Scary movie 1, 2, 3, 4 and what ever they are upto oh and all the others of that style.
To think that people actually invested money in this.
It's not even 'So bad it's good'
The taxmen must be after poor Steven Berkoff...
I've noticed recent that some companies seem to deliberatelybe making bad movies (mainly for TV or Direct to DVD, but with some features) in the hope that the "ironic /so bad it's good" brigade will flock to them.
Which strikes me as quite a cop-out- if you're making a spoof, it needs as much effort as a normal film to be genuinely funny (look at "Austin Powers", "Galaxy Quest" or "Tropic Thunder).
Saying "Let's just make a s**tty film and watch the "ironic" brigade flock to it!" smacks of the worst cynicism-the film-makers aren't even trying to make a good film, either
serious or funny.

What Ever Happened to Alice
Killjoy
The nude scenes of Jennifer Jason Leigh alone makes that not worthy of this thread.

The Syfy Channel is a notorious offender ("Sharkando" was "shot through with lazy self-mockery" according to this article).
