My heads been going crazy over the past few days in deciding which TV to buy!! I have narrowed it down to three choices, but I'm still going crazy! I want to use it as a PC monitor, for my xbox 360 and to watch films and stuff through xbmc on my xbox.
The three are:
Sagem HD-L26T £515 from EmpireDirect (2x HDMI!!)
Samsung LER74BDX £570 from 24-7 Electrical (Nicest Looking, Best for 360!)
Sony Bravia Sony KDL 26-S2010 £629 from 121 Electronics (Best Picture Quality?)
I really don't want to spend over £600, but the sony seems to be the best all rounder, What I am looking for mainly is picture quality, sound isn't too much of an issue. I hope use my PC to watch HD Video, and use XBMC to watch standard divx video. The xbox 360 is to play games obviously.
I'm going towards the samsung as I heard the sagem was unreliable and the sony is just too damn expensive!
Should I just go for the sammy or spend the extra cash on the sony.?
The features I am looking for are
- At least 1 HDMI input
- Picture in picture capability
- At least one RGB scart (2 preferred)
- VGA or PC input
- 1:1 pixel mapping through VGA
- High Contrast ratio
Are there any other TV reccomendations?
Thanks for any help!!

I hear bad things about DNie, what exactly is it and can it be turned off?
Is it really that much better than the samsung?
I sit about 6-7ft away from the tv mainly, and my room is quite small, am I okay with 26 or should I just go straight for a 32"?
I have spents ages and ages researching and there is very little review wise on this particular Sony 26 inch model, so the proof will be in the pudding.
I sit about five foot from the screen so I didn't want one too big, and I'm tired of looking at films on a 4:3 screen.
Will have to see what it's like.
