Problem installing Memeo Instant Backup Programme

I have purchased this in order to use my Seagate and it won't let me install it unless I have the correct user name and password. It comes up with Administrator but I don't know of a password to go with that. I've had the laptop three years and have a note of a password relating to it but that's not accepted. How can I find out what to put in please?

I'm probably wrong (?) but maybe you need to use the Memeo account details as step 1 on the quick guide says
"Create your free Memeo account" which can be done here https://me.memeo.com/login#signup

Thank you, Mac. When I went back to the screen it accepted me without password (!!) But now it says the back up to my storage device is up to date but when I look at the contents of the Seagate, there is no entry with today's date.

there are quite a few good backup programs for free on the net, such as Easeus, Macrium or Clonezilla to name a few. they are worth knowing if only for a plan, B when others act up or have issues.

My (techie) daughter visited today and she advised me to buy Memeo for £20 plus postage. I did that and it was very easy to back up and it showed on the Seagate contents. We are just hoping that it's a one-off payment. If it's annual I shall have to think again.

Thank you for all the help.
