A thread asking why Steve Wright is still on Radio 2 in the afternoons with a format that was already woefully out of date in 1981, when it started.
And then several more.
Oh, and several threads pointing out that Steve Wright is away again, with most replies either slagging off his stand-ins or complaining that Steve Wright is still on Radio 2 in the afternoons with a format that was already woefully out of date in 1981, when it started.
And don't forget threads complaining about the sidelining of Radio 2's specialist shows, with many replies expressing bafflement about Steve Wright still being on Radio 2 in the afternoons with a format that was already woefully out of date in 1981, when it started.
Occy will post replies to any of these threads he doesn't start, and some of his posts will make no sense no matter how many times you read them.
Bring back Heart. A thread complaining about how local radio is being killed and how the new owners should look at how Global ran the stations in the good old days.
Jim Proudfoot rejoins talkSPORT to commentate on the 2014 World Cup.
Premier League national radio rights auction for seasons 2013/14 to 2015/16 - things stay as they were during the last three seasons.
John Murray and Conor McNamara succeed Alan Green and Mike Ingham as 5 Live's top football commentary team, Darren Fletcher moves to Sky Sports.
A decent bit of Mystic Meggery going on here in one of my posts from 2010, if I do say so myself.
Jim Proudfoot did indeed rejoin talkSPORT to commentate on last year's World Cup, the Premier League national radio rights stayed as they were during the last renewal of the contracts (which is also my prediction for the 2016-19 deal) and John Murray has succeeded Mike Ingham in 5 Live's top football commentary team this season. We're just waiting for Conor McNamara to join him when Alan Green eventually hangs up his mic.
The only one I've got wrong was predicting Darren Fletcher would leave Radio 5 Live to join Sky Sports - he moved to BT Sport instead, but given they weren't in existence when I wrote that post I don't think I did too badly there!

the 'non-franchised stations' death watch thread.
Bye Bye BBC Local Radio!
No more Radio (year 2040)
And then several more.

I prefer the real Norman Collier.
I posted this over four years ago and I'm still waiting.
