I was really disappointed with this.
    Found it dull and unfunny.

...on Sky 3D too. Recording it for later viewing.

Completely agree. Always thought Aardman had a great track record and was looking forward to seeing this, but it just left me cold and bored by the end.

Watched this over the weekend and was extremely impressed, enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. The animation is phenomenal.

Hugh Grant gave an excellent turn as the Pirate Captain.

My favourite Ardman movie to date by far.

Saw it on Sky, thoroughly enjoyed it.

But even while watching it I knew I was missing a lot, so many sight gags and detail
So watched it again the next day and liked it even more.:D

    Loved the monkey
and the way The Pirate Captain gave Darwin the idea of evolution

Saw it the other day. Thoroughly underwhelmed.

I like a lot of Aardman's stuff. Love Wallace and Gromit, thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Run and Arthur Christmas, didn't even mind Flushed Away.

But this...it just didn't grab me any way. Found it uninvolving from the start. Skews pretty young, I think, as there didn't seem to be much there for an adult audience.

Saw it yesterday off of Sky. Hmmm, yeah I did find it a bit lacklustre. The story didn't seem that well developed. The characters(apart from Hugh Grant's character, Charles Darwin and the Queen) seem a bit too under developed.

Compared to both 'Chicken Run' and 'Wallace and Grommit : Curse of the Were-Rabbit' it was quite disappointing.
