Creepy guy on my bus

Over the past few weeks, a guy has got on the same bus as me who talks to himself. This morning he sat next to me and was talking to himself the entire journey. Later on I saw him in town and the mate I was with spotted me giving him an evil look

What should I do?

A. Try befriending the guy as I have had similar learning difficulties
B. Report him to the authorities
C. Only do anything if he physically attacks me

If he's doing no harm to anyone, let him be. Simples.

He is probably worried that someone keeps looking at him on the bus, Then this person sat close to him. He might be at home worrying about the weirdo on the bus

First off, why mention learning difficulties?

Who would you report him to and why? What would you hope happened if you reported him?

Why do you think he will attack you?

What would you do if anyone, creepy or not, attacked you?

Because I have mild autism so have some sympathy for him

I would report him to a mental health charity if I knew his name (but not knowing his name means that I can't do such a thing)

He looks very angry and unstable. If anyone attacked me, I would get the police involved straight away

Maybe stop jumping to conclusions, He hasn't attacked you. If he does then fine, He might not have any issues, This could all be in YOUR head

Ok, so your mate spotted him giving you an "evil look"
Your mate wouldn't know who he was unless you pointed him out would he?
He sat by you once and mumbled to himself and you want to "report" him to a mental health charity because you think he looks unstable and he now might harm you.
That's a little ironic really given your reaction.

And what do you think a mental health charity would do?

    D. Do nothing. It's not like he is stalking you or anything, and has only sat next to you once, probably unintentionally

He is on the same bus as me frequently and always looks unstable. My mate didn't recognise him, but noticed that this guy gave me an evil look

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rank him in terms of looking unstable?
    What are the indicators?
I use buses a lot and I need to know this stuff.

Just leave him be. More likely than not he doesn't even know you exist djfunnyman.

You should just ask him why he keeps staring at you. He might not be aware of it.

Sometimes it's good to just clear the air.

But make sure your friend is with you incase the guy turns violent.

You should just ignore him. If you still find him uncomfortable then perhaps you can take a different bus.
    Is your local bus frequent?

    Great advice.
    Accost him.
    Accuse him.
    Offend him.
But have back up in case he's a bit flaky.

I think he could actually benefit from that advice.

It's not his fault if no-one else on the bus is capable of holding a decent conversation ;)

I talk to myself when I am in the car, doesn't mean I am some creepy weirdo.

Leave the poor man be and mind your own business, he hasn't done anything to you.

He sat next to me when the bus was still quite empty. I would get a different bus but there is also a fit girl who sometimes gets the same bus

The BiB now makes you sound like a creepy, stalker, weirdo. No offence of course.

Leave the guy be. If he continues to sit next to you on an empty bus - try and make small talk! It can't hurt. Otherwise, just leave it.
