  Nope the british soap awards started in 1999 and has always been EE or CS

  No, neither should they have done imo. Corrie and EE have always been streets ahead of the rest. The only one which has ran them close over the years is Emmerdale.

  cool, thanks guys! i agree the only one that could beat them is Emmerdale. i'd love them to win in the near future, they more than deserve it in my opinion

  The Bill was a continuing drama, not a Soap. Corrie was generally poor back then anyway. When I said Corrie and EE have always been streets ahead of the rest I obviously realise they've both had lulls over the years but overall at least one of them has been better than the reat of the competition.
