I think its strange how nobody cares that Alex has vanished, i think his body will be found in about 6 years, talk about dragging it out, i forgot he was there.

Doesn't it show how little impact he made as a character? The only people I can think of who would be really concerned is Victoria -who has written him off - or Moira. To the rest he just seems to have been someone they worked with, but don't miss in any way.

I think everyone assumes that he robbed Edna while he was lodging with her (though we know it was Cameron who did that and made it look like it was Alex) then did a runner.
The whole storyline has been a little hard to swallow and it is, as people have already mentioned, riddled with holes. I just don't buy Cameron the murderer/serial killer. No doubt he will bump off Alex's poor old gran as I've read that he will stop at nothing to keep his secret. Infact, I think a few people are going to get in his way and be in the wrong place at the wrong time a la Richard Hillman's victims in Corrie, although that storyline can never be topped by any soap. All depends on how long it does trundle on for as it is already rather tedious.
I hope Cameron does get found out soon. Mind you, during the final scenes in Friday's episode, his true colours surfaced for a brief moment when he went wild. The look on the faces of the Dingle clan showed shock and horror at his behaviour.
Hopefully it isnt too long now before he gets found out and goes down for life.
Cameron will probably keep confessing to people then killing them as he did with Alex, burying them all in the woods until he is the only character left

I checked Wikipedia and it said six months. I hope the discovery of Alex doesn't drag out that long!
If you compare it to the length of some of the other storylines running just now I really don't think that Cameron is going to get found out any time soon. Thats not to say that they won't find Alex's body meantime - just to keep the storyline exciting

Thanks for that Soozycat.
I hope not too, but it wouldnt surprise me. Its frustrating to think this will just go on and on. Ive got to check the dates of the recorded episodes I am watching because sometimes I feel I've already watched it before.
Its not a storyline that is just getting more and more tangled where you're waiting to see what he is going to dare to do next, which written in the right way would have been gripping. This is just tedious and all you want is for it to be over and done with.
Re - cute little pooch Cheryl.
As soon as Eric handed her over to Val it immediately crossed my mind that she could be the one who finds Alex.
It seemed so out of the blue. Can't remember Val ever showing any particular affection for animals before and yet she was instantly besotted. And it's not like Cheryl has had a major part.....so far. I keep expecting a 'missing puppy' storyline any day. Just hope it doesn't end in her demise.:(

I know what you mean. I'm tired of Cameron's erratic behaviour and skulking around, I'm tired of Chas being bullied by everyone AND I'm tired of Princess Debbie and her hissyfits
If Cameron did bump off Alex's Gran, maybe someone will get suspicious when someone then comes looking for Alex's Gran and Cameron will then bump them off and then someone will come looking for them and then Cameron will then bump them off and then someone will come looking for them and then Cameron will then bump them off and then someone will come looking for them...........:D
I know. I suspect the reasoning is something like, 'the longer we keep this sl going, the longer before we have to think of a new one'.
Stop dragging your heels, O'n'J, you're the one arranging Alex's funeral and, I might add, have been for a considerable length of time. You on piece work, or something?

Don't give TPTB ideas...:D
Nooooooooo! Cheryl's adorable :-)
That would cause as much of an outcry on here as the killing of Carl King!!
Nope, we'd be far more indignant at the killing of an innocent puppy. The untimely deaths of Gladys the chicken and Mrs Sharma's cat still rankle.
I think you're right. Carl was a total git in the end and Cheryl is, as you say, an innocent puppy. I melt whenever I see her

Please let the next one be Debbie!
