The only palatable and bearable way to view the farcical Lohan carcrash and her ghoulish, vampiric family is through the eyes of Michael K.
Haha love it, what I want to know is where was white Oprah today thought she'd try and get in on the action
Lindsay does not look good in those pics:eek:
Hopefully this 90 days will do her some good and she won't get done for assaulting the staff this time.
I still like Lindsay and wish her well. I hope this works for her, but I'm not that hopeful. I'm beginning to feel she really might need a serious jail sentence to get her sorted out. I can't believe she's avoided one again.
I don't understand what exactly Lindsay has done to deserve this constant hounding. There are loads of young people in the USA getting wrecked every day of the week on vodka and hard drugs so why is she picked on? I agree that she does appear to be rather irresponsible but is she really so different to all the other people of her age visiting clubs and having a drink?
If she really is an alchoholic then she will not be cured until she herself desires it. No amount of sending her to jail for a few hours or these fake rehabs will make any difference. Do we really know that she is an alchoholic or a drug addict? Or is she just a social user?
As to her being a criminal drunk driving (and shoplifting) maybe reckless and stupid but she is hardly in the major league here.
I am not defending her silly behaviour but just trying to point out that people are very down on her when there are others doing a lot worse.
Even if she murdered fifty people, she'd get a very light sentence. The fact that she gets off so lightly makes her scum in my eyes
Why so nasty? She hasn't committed any serious crimes.
She got caught drink driving but she didn't injure anyone. In this country you would get a ban and a fine for that. She had the indignity of having a tag attached to her to monitor her alchohol intake. Has America reintroduced prohibition? Since when should a woman in her 20's not be allowed to have a drink if she wants one?

When she continually gets behind the wheel of her car and drives it after having several drinks?

I'm not disputing that she shouldn't drink and drive. Have they revoked her license? If she's not driving then why can't she have a drink the same as everyone else? That's my view.

I'm not saying she shouldn't have a drink. She has been into court again and again for the same things. You'd think she'd have learned her lesson by now. Most people would get a harsher sentence but she gets let off time and time again

She seems to be guilty of stupidity though more than anything else. Why should she go to jail? Prison should be for violent offenders and people who are a danger to the public. Lyndsay just seems to be a danger to her own career!
Obviously she is no saint but there are people doing a lot worse.

I think, and I could be wrong, the sobriety ankle monitor was part of a deal that kept her out of prison, so yeah, she should be wearing it.

If she drinks and drives she is a danger to the public, and the fact that she hasn't killed anyone yet is likely to be solely luck. Indeed, a drunk driving celebrity who doesn't kill anyone is a danger through the bad example they set to others, as other drivers might be encouraged to think they'll be as lucky.
The girl needs to be locked up for 5 or 10 years, she will never learn. Red heads..............meh!
So you think that anyone who drinks and drives (but doesn't injure anybody) should be locked up for 5 to 10 years ? Really? Or do you think that only Lyndsay deserves this sort of sentence?

YES! What a silly thing to say. It's to stop it happens again, and a real tough lesson to learn!

Not silly at all. If everyone who committed petty crime was locked up for 5-10 years they would certainly have to build a lot more prisons. There are people who get less for violent crime and murder. Her career would definitely be over then.
You don't honestly think that some sort of reformation would happen do you? More likely she would come out drug addicted and worse. This idea that prison makes people better is laughable. It seems to me that people want to punish Lyndsay because she is young beautiful, talented and has seemingly wasted her advantages in life - Not because they really believe it will actually do her any good.
I agree that she shouldn't be allowed to drive but I don't agree with locking her up for a long period of time. People baying for her to be locked up should examine the reasons they judge her so harshly when there are people getting away with serious crime all the time.
Sadly, I think if Lindsay had been made to face the consequences of her irresponsible actions, i.e. sentenced to about six months in prison, she would be behaving more like an adult rather than a spoilt teenager. She is constantly being treated with kid-gloves so of course she does not respect the law. She can clearly see that her fame and money are giving her an "out" every time she goes to Court. Not one judge has actually sent her to prison for a reasonable amount of time. How many times will she get away with her appalling behaviour?????

but I imagined this plea deal would come into effect almost straight away. What a joke, yes we won't send you to prison go and hang out with your mates a while longer and when you're ready do 90 days rehab:(
should have been sent straight there IMO, do not pass go kind of thing

Its all so futile. Noboby with an addiction problem is going to be reformed in this way. She's a silly girl but I don't think jail is the answer.
Agree jail probably isn't the answer, I think a good start would be to put some distance between her and that mother of hers
I think she'd probably come out a heroin addict or worse. Don't they always say it's easier to get hold of drugs in prison than on the outside
