Time for the 2012 edition of the ultimate wrestling tournament.
the 2011 winner was Bret Hart who defeated CM Punk in the final at Wembley Stadium. If you were unaware of the last tournament it can be found here: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1509392&highlight=ultimate+king
For 2012 there will be several changes.
*to guarantee a new champion, Bret Hart is ineligible and will not compete
*the tournament size will increase from 64 wrestlers past/present/dead/alive to 256.
*In 2011 the highest seeded wrestler had 'home advantage' this time the 256 will be divided into 8 regions which will have its own arena and its own rules which may suit one wrestler over another. The 8 regions will be: WWE (MSG), WCW (Georgia Dome), TNA (Impact Zone) ECW (ECW Arena), NJPW (Tokyo Dome), ROH (Chicago Ridge), XPW (California), and WCCW (Dallas,Texas) each has their own unique atmosphere and rules which may affect match outcomes.
If you didnt take part last time all you have to do is vote on who you think wins the match and how they win it. This process goes on and on untill we have a winner. Its is a knockout format and once someone is out they are out!
Im now going to ask you guys to help fill the 256 man roster. It can be any wrestler past or present dead or alive, excluding our 2011 winner Bret Hart.
I will fill the first 100 places and will then rely on you guys to help make that list up to 256. No womens wrestlers, men only.

Are you saying that if Wrestler A receives more votes than Wrestler B, but it's in a match and arena that suits Wrestler B, you give the win to them instead?
Also, 256 is a ludicrous number if you ever want this to get off the ground. I'd have stopped at 100 tbh.
Last time it was suggested that there should be more wrestlers. 256 will allow for most current wrestlers to compete with legends and other wrestlers from various organisations all over the world.
With regards arenas and match stipulations the number of votes is still the number of votes. However you need to think more before you vote.
For example: John Cena vs. Mick Foley. If this match took place in the WWE,WCW, or NJPW arenas you would probably expect Cena to win. However take this match to the ECW or XPW arenas and you could argue that Mick has the advantage due to his background in hardcore wrestling. The arenas are there to add some thought to the results. And to potentially mix up the results.

It's such a big list, even now, that I'm not sure of the answer to my question, which is....
Many wrestlers have had multiple personas over the years. Is each to be treated as a seperate entity?
Could the Undertaker face Mean Mark Callous? Could we see a Mick Foley/Cactus Jack/ Dude Love/Mankind fourway? How would Scott Hall handle a handicap match with Razor Ramone and the Diamond Studd? and would Starship Coyote be the guest referee?
If the answer to the original question is yes, then put 'em all on the list, along with all the other alter egos

This is good guys just 64 more needed and we can start. Trying to think if theres any obvious former world champions/hall of famers that havent already been entered along with good current stars.
The correct number of entries is actually 186 as we stand and not 192.
all 7 of Ultra Magnus entries are actually the same person. I will accept the first one which is Brutus Beefcake.
Also I wasnt going to allow women to enter but I will allow Chyna as entered by CTD101 on the basis that she is a former Intercontinental Champion.
