I have 2 months left of my virgin media contract for m+/broadband/line.
I want to downgrade to just broadband only,i am currently on 30 mb broadband so will want to keep that.

Will I be on a new 12/18 month contract if I downgrade?
And do I need to phone up 30 days before my last month?

You need 30 days to give them notice you are cancelling the Phone and TV,
they might ask you to sign a 12 month contract so to speak for the Broadband though

No you won't have to sign any new contract, you've done you 18 month contract. However similar to what Joshua said they might make you a offer and you would then sign a new contract if you take the offer, if you don't take the offer you'll still get your broadband but not at a discount etc.

    Thanks for the replies.

Just got a letter through the post saying if I phone them I could get a deal of some kind....bit cryptic and strange that they expect me to phone them.
