I was a bit disappointed by Alan Carr's actually. It was a decent read but roar with laughter funny like I expected.. I suppose because he had a pretty 'normal' background. Frighteningly like me.. worked at Tesco, in call centres, gay, glasses oh it goes on!

Really like Russell Brand's. He's spectacularly good with words. Gordon Ramsey's is also very interesting. Read Jordan's first one but wouldn't dream of adding any more funds to her empire now.

The worst celeb autobiography I've read is without doubt David Beckham's. In fact I never finished it.

I've read Donovans - enjoyed it, he came across as a bit of an idiot sometimes but still a good read.

Also Suzi Quatro's - very enjoyable.

Also liked Russell Brands, Dawn French's and Stephen Fry's

I'm not really a celeb autobiography fan, but I read Pearl Lowe's in one sitting and really enjoyed it.

I've read both of Sharon Osbourne's,all of Piers Morgan's, Julie Andrews' one and Amanda Barrie's one. My favourite by miles was Amanda Barrie's,probably because it was the funniest and I could relate to a lot of what she went through. :)

I've read Michael J Fox's first biography which was good. Very open about his thoughts and feeling about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Haven’t bought his second yet, but will do.

Disappointed with Rupert Everett’s biography. He’s led an interesting life, but after don’t really like his personality that came across. Kind of shattered the crush I had on him!

I liked Jerry Lewis’s biography, Dean and Me, which focused on his partnership with Dean Martin. It was interesting and sad at times. It's well written, so it's a quick and easy read.

I’ve also read Ginny Roger’s biography. She came across as a touch ‘I’m fabulous’ but I guess since she’s Ginny Roger’s she can get away with it :)

These are some of the autobiographies that I've read:-

    Michael Caine
    Bob Monkhouse
    Gorden Kaye (Allo Allo)
    Richard Hammond
    Robbie Williams
    John Barrowman
Sean Astin (Sam in LOTR and by the time I'd finished reading it I actually really disliked him, he's so full of himself!)
    Sheila Hancock
    Midge Ure
    Cliff Richard
Peter Kay (thought it was a load of tripe tbh!)
    David Essex

Russell Brand - the guy is amazing with words!
    Alan Carr - hilarious :p
Chris Moyles - very funny, just as he comes across on his R1 show
    Katie Price - average

Reading Ant & Dec's now, so far so good. :D

Anyone got the new Justin Lee Collins autobiography? Was thinking of getting it, but just wanted some opinions on it. :)

I'm not really a fan of celeb autobiographies.

I read John Barrowman's- really funny, some hilarious anecdotes :)

Just finished Ant and Dec's - also funny, and very sweet.

I'd like to read Julie Andrews' - I love her.
And a friend says Dawn French's is also very good.

Lucky Man is fantastic. I'd forgotten that I'd meant to get his second one, so thanks for reminding me.

Stephen Fry's Moab is My Washpot is I think my favourite autobiography ever; it's so interesting and honest and beautifully written.

I really like autobiographies. Oliver Postgate's is lovely.

Stephen Fry: Moab is My Washpot
    Christopher Lee: Lord of Misrule
Jane Fonda: My Life So Far
    Billie Whitelaw: ... Who He?
    Ed Husain: The Islamist

That's all that is coming to mind, the rest I read are mostly biographies.
