I'd like to see Iain replace Rylan.
That would probably be too much like common sense for Channel 5/ITV.

I think if Iain anchored the show it would restrict him too much.

Rylan only looked next to AJ I'm afraid. Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox would look good next to AJ.

Thanks for all your kind words. And even your not so kind words.

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself on BBOTS this time, really has been a lot of fun. Who knows what will happen in the summer?

    Iain

PS did anybody notice that Emma didn't make it back from the house in time for the start of the last BBOTS and I had to fill in with seconds to spare?

HaHa - I am glad you are back in the summer :)

IMO, you are much better in your BB role, than you were as an LBC presenter. You & Carol MCGiffen ( another former LBC presenter) bring some much needed intelligence & insight to the show.

More of you two - & less of the so called, 'Experts.' ;-)

I have just watched the final and BOTS on +1, and have realised that I was right not get into it this year. It is badly produced and scripted, and Emma Willis, although I really like her, is just not good at dealing with the live interviews. Rylan is actually getting worse - I warmed to him a bit last time - and can't sing at all, it would seem. And what on earth is going on with his teeth? Awful.

I am glad that Jim Davidson won, but only because he was one of the very few people in there I have heard of, and the rest seemed mostly to be foul.

The only good thing about the whole thing is Iain Lee and I hope he gets a more dominant role next time.
    this but the opposite :D

Iain Lee is on 3CR every morning and is an absolute hoot, as well as being an excellent serious radio journo.

He was up and on the prog this morning at silly o'clock having been at the BBOTS thingy last night.

    Well done that man!

Me too, but I actually think he unintentionally outshines Rylan.
Behind his sharp wit and funnies he is often the voice of reason.
As a double act I did prefer him with AJ and I guess I find it works better to have a man and female double act.

For me Russell brand was an amazing bbbots presenter and Iain is as close to that as they come.

I feel very strongly that the Rylan and Ian combo on Saturday is awful-it's like a gay double act which doesn't work.I also think Carol on the panel is pointless as she is not an expert and just has viewer type opinions(like regular guests but not the expert ones required for the saturday show)Even though Aj may have struggled I thought she worked better with Ian.
As for BOTS I much prefer Emma and more Emma and as little Rylan as possible-even to switching off the Rylan editions once anything important has happenned rather then keeping it on.

Ian Lee shoots from the lip and Rylan tries to be funny. It's an odd combo and i too think The Magiff was being auditioned for a future pairing with Ian Lee.

I've always liked him, even when he was just a frequent guest on BBBOTS. He's hilarious. I love Emma too though.

It's Rylan that I just can't warm to. I was very supportive of Rylan during his series of CBB and was SO happy he won; however, I just don't think he's a good presenter at all. I really think he needs to be sacked - Iain can take his place.. and maybe (dare I say?)..Luisa would be a good addition to the program.

I think Iain and Rylan work really well together - they bounce off each other. Loved it last night when Rylan did his Lionel impression and Iain struggled to not crack up :D

And i'd agree with what someone else has said about him challenging the Psych panelists when they say something a bit daft - it's good to have that balance.

Really hope both him and Rylan are back for the next series.

Iain you're the dose that a lot of us need on that show

As someone earlier in this thread mentioned you - like Russell or Alice have that perfect level of detachment

Everyone else seems nervous and caught up in it all and without your dynamic it's a generally a car crash - with respect - to car crashes

Been very frustrating seeing the comments from those who just don't get you

    but hey - vive flourida!:D

good luck in the summer bloke

I think Iain is the best of the presenters. Happy to speak his mind, opinionated, funny and clearly a fan of the show.

I'd like to see his role increased too.

I,m with both these comments, I think Rylan has got better this series would like him and Iain to have more than one show a week and less of the experts on

Scripted? Of course it is, its a TV panel show. The only thing probably not scripted is the comments from the audience and possibly the guests.

It was a bit  when a disembodied voice announced 'Emma and Rylan' and you wandered on with him. You and Emma don't look that much alike. I wondered whether it was a bizarre joke.

Anyway, good job for the series. :)

If there were a choice I would rid of Rylan, keep lovely Iain and his hamster face, and replace Rylan with Rustie Lee or Vanessa.. Im not a huge Vanessa fan but she makes for a fab interviewer.

I'm not from the UK so I didn't know Iain Lee apart from BB. I would say he's sometimes trying too hard but I've liked him ever since he told that psychologist: "Are you a real Doctor??". I LMAO!

His best line was when he mentioned: "Let's not put everyone who watches porn into the same basket. Some of them have good careers..." or something like that. Hilarious.

He's not as good with Rylan. I think he may be better with Carol. He needs to go back to being more opinionated. Maybe last year's suspension slowed him down.

Iain Lee suits this show & he actually gives it much needed gravitas.

Rylan is natural in front of the camera, but he has become horribly arrogant & thinks the show is about him!

His ego is out of control & is now so large that it has its own postcode!

They need to get shot of him like the did with AJ Odudu & leave it in the hands of Iain Lee.

It would be good to see Ian Lee on as BOTS full time as it has lost the comical, sharp side which Jamie East used to provide it is a shame he left really as he was funny.

Rylan and Ian Lee do work well together.

    Seriously !?

Iain Lee is the worst comedian I've seen for ages !

Plus he's devoid of personality and charisma !

For me, the BB/CBB companion shows are only worth watching when Iain Lee appears.

I value what he has to say more than any of the other hosts, guests, panellists, 'experts' or audience members.

He's honest, he has integrity and I like that you can see him constantly battling to restrain his devilment behind his cheeky, heartwarming smile. He's up for the craic. Love that fella.
I think spectators of Big Brother are a very broad church and we all find our own level, I suspect I'm somewhere along Ian's level.

There are lots of dispensable bods at BB but they should hang on to Iain Lee and prize him like the last raven in the Tower of London.

I don't see any of this at all, he has become more confident in his role, which is only natural, but arrogant and thinking the show is about him....absolutely not imo. What some others seem to see as Rylan being cocky comes across to me as him just having a joke and a bit of banter. I have read so many comments from people that have worked with Rylan saying how lovely and down to earth he is which goes totally against any arrogant etc tag.

As for Iain Lee, I find him ok in small doses and don't mind him on the psych show but I wouldn't personally want to see him on any more than he has been.

Iain & Carol/Vanessa would suit me fine......presenters with something between the ears - do it for me !

The awful guest/ 'expert' cow- towing grates on my nerves...those mentioned above refrain from this.....

Probably, BB policy, though, because Emma, one of my favourites, is one of the main culprits.
