For the opening fixture of week 5 we have 2 players going for a Blackburn win, 43 players going for an Arsenal win and 12 players going for a draw. 15 players have gone for a 2-1 Arsenal win to make that the most popular prediction for this game. A further 13 players have gone for a 2-0 win, 9 for a 1-0 win and one player has gone for Arsenal to win 3-0. The two players going for a home win have gone for different results - one has gone for 2-0 whilst the other has gone for 2-1. 9 of the players going for a draw have gone for 1-1 and 2 have gone for a goalless draw. 4 of the 5 players going for an uber-max prediction have gone for a 3-1 Arsenal win, whilst the other player has gone for a 2-2 draw.

Whilst no-one went for a 4-3 Blackburn win, we did have 2 players going for a home win and so scoring 2 points from the opening matc. SSReporters and new player Too Close were the only players to score.

    We have five 3 o'clock kick-offs today:

    Aston Villa v Newcastle
33 players have gone for a Villa win, 23 have gone for the draw and 4 players have gone for a Newcastle win. 17 players have gone for the 1-1 draw to make that the most popular prediction for this match. A further 3 players have gone for a 0-0 draw. Amongst those players going for a home win, the 2-0 and 2-1 scorelines are the most popular as we have 11 and 10 players, respectively, picking them. A further 9 players have gone for Villa to win 1-0 and one player has gone for a 3-0 victory. 2 of the players going for a Newcastle win have gone for 2-1, whilst both the 1-0 and 2-0 wins have been selected by one player each. There are 5 uber-max predictions for this game - 3 for a 2-2 draw and 2 for a 3-1 Villa win.

    Bolton v Norwich
52 players have gone for a home win, 6 for a draw and 2 have gone for an away win. This is the only game today where everyone has gone for goals. 18 players have gone for a 2-1 home win and 16 for a 2-0 win. A further 6 players have gone for Bolton 1-0 and 2 players have gone for 3-0. There are 3 players going for a 1-1 draw and one player has gone for Norwich to win 2-1. The remaining 14 predictions are all for uber-max scorelines: half of those predictions are for a 3-1 Bolton win, whilst 3 players have gone for a 2-2 draw, two players have gone for a 3-2 home win and both the 4-0 Bolton win and the 3-2 Norwich win have been selected by one player each.

    Everton v Wigan
47 players have gone for an Everton win, whilst 11 have gone for a draw and we have 2 going for a Wigan win.16 players have gone for a 2-1 home win, whilst both the 1-0 and 2-0 wins have been selected by 13 players each. Two players have gone for a 3-0 scoreline. The two players going for a Wigan win have gone for different results - one has gone for 1-0 whilst the other has gone for 2-1. Of the players predicting a draw 6 players have gone for 1-1 and 5 for 0-0. The only uber-max scoreline predicted for this match is 3-1 to Everton and 3 players have gone for that result.

    Swansea v West Brom
This is the only one of the 3 o'clock games where we have not got more players going for a home win than any other outcome. This time 26 players have gone for a draw, whilst 9 have gone for a home win and 25 for an away win. The 1-1 draw is the most popular prediction here as 17 players have gone for that result. A further 6 have gone for a goalless draw. 9 players have opted for a 2-1 West Brom win, whilst 7 have gone for 1-0 and 6 for 2-0, with one player going for a 3-0 win. 4 players have gone for Swansea to win 2-1, 3 for them to win 1-0 and one player has gone for a 2-0 win. There are 6 players going for an uber-max prediction here: 3 of them have gone for a 2-2 draw, 2 have gone for a 3-1 West Brom win and one player has gone for a 3-1 Swansea win.

    Wolves v QPR
36 players have gone for a Wolves win, 20 have gone for a draw and 4 for a QPR win. The most popular prediction today is a 2-1 Wolves win as 20 players have gone for that. 9 players have gone for Wolves to win 2-0, whilst two have gone for a 1-0 win and one player for a 3-0 win. There are 11 players going for a 1-1 draw here and 3 for the goalless draw. The players going for a QPR win are split equally between a 1-0 and a 2-1 scoreline. 10 players have gone for uber-max predictions - 6 have gone for a 2-2 draw and 4 for a 3-1 Wolves win.

The 1-1 draw between Aston Villa and Newcastle was the most successful prediction of the day as 17 players got this one spot on: ajl2011, Alfie2008, AM32, Apple_Crumble, bamber, Belligerence, beth84, DimSum, harry_i_c, Hibs-kid-2007, Hullboy, neilwatson, Psycho_Ned, Samthefootball, Sattrega, Watcher #1 and WoodsMonk. A further 6 players got 2 points from this match.

The only other game where more than one player scored a max today was Everton's 3-1 win over Wigan. This one was called by 3 players who each bagged an uber-max and a +5 cowpat: Belligerence, beth84 and stevenjjhill. There were plenty of sufferers from the cowpat as 16 players had gone for 2-1: bamber, basdfg, Benny Johns, Big Dipper, cheeks, digiremote, DimbleBurbleby, Hayden, Hutchy_Muse, Sattrega, Simon1984, Tokyo, TomDaOne, Watcher #1, WoodsMonk and yakutz. 44 players in total scored 2 points from this one.

Samthefootball was the sole player to get a max from Norwich's 2-1 win at Bolton. Too Close was the only other player to go for an away win

9 players scored 2 points for tipping Swansea to beat West Brom but no-one went for 3-0. Alfie2008, beth84, cheeks, digiremote, DimbleBurbleby, Henderson, Norman Gorman, Simon1984 and Terrence Chant were the players to get the points.

Only 4 players scored points from QPR's 3-0 win at Wolves: ajl2011, Hibs-kid-2007, Tusk0312 and WoodsMonk. Again no-one got this spot on.

Top scores from the 6 games today are:

    beth84 14
    Belligerence 12
    Samthefootball 12
    ajl2011 09
    Alfie2008 09
    Hibs-kid-2007 09
    WoodsMonk 09
    AM32 07
    Apple_Crumble 07
    bamber 07
    DimSum 07
    neilwatson 07
    Psycho_Ned 07
    Sattrega 07
    stevenjjhill 07
    Watcher #1 07

Belligerence and beth84 both managed to get 2 scores spot on - one max and one uber-max. Samthefootball also spot 2 scores exact - both normal 5 point maxes

No-one managed to score points in more than 3 of the 6 matches. ajl2011, Alfie2008, beth84, Hibs-kid-2007, Samthefootball and WoodsMonk did managed to get points from 3 games

Tough to get many points today! Well done to everyone who exceeded double figures. Hope Everton's 3rd didn't mean you had to rewriteyour round up Dim!

It did :(. Luckily it wasn't quite as bad a re-write as sometimes with only 3 people getting the uber. And thankfully it was the only cowpat :)
