I predict the person who pulls them up for the spelling of honour will make a mistake in their own own post.

It happens every time a smart bum corrects someone else.:D

    It's called Skitt's Law. And I am a very law-abiding person.

Someone who improves their skills, or sharpens their blade on a fine whetstone.

    Arise, Sir Simon of Cowell.

For services to mind-numbing, spirit-crushing moron fodder.

Hopefully beckham and cowell will get knighthoods

And I think that dame Barbara Windsor has a nice ring about it.

I think Alan Shearer, inevitably David Beckham both involved in lots of charity work and failed World Cup; Jenson Button already is on the list according to the Telegraph as is Patrick Stewart. Heston Blumenthal or Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (please not Jamie Oliver!), the Dragons?

David Tennant?! What for? Services to gurning :D Actually rather him than anyone of X Factor.

There's always bound to be one celeb on the list that makes you go "you've got to be kidding"

I remember that when Mick Jagger got is Knighthood.

Sir Rolf Harris hopefully. His take on Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven is worth a knighthood alone.

Yeah, I've always thought it a complete travesty that Christopher Lee had to wait until 2009 for a knighthood.
