Just saw in the Sunday Express yesterday JLC is dating the actor who plays king of the north Rob Stark in GOT. He is working alongside her ex who she dated while in Emmerdale .Think it is the guy who plays Theon Greyjoy akward:eek: !. Read all the books. Just thought is would be cool if the two mixed. Madame Kovarian could have a smack down cat fight with Cersei Lannister for example.After that MS could have a pretty boy contest with Kit who plays the lovely John Snow.

Nudity and sex doesn't mean porn. If you think it does you have a rather twisted view of things I am afraid.
I don't see it one is fantasy the other science fiction not really much of a cross over - there really isn't much technology in GoT. Might have some actors cross over but the verses don't mix logically.

I don't think Game of Thrones and DW have anything in common to make a crossover work. In fact I think it would ruin both shows. I don't want both my favourite shows corrupted by unnecessary fad crossovers. I prefer them self contained.
When it doesn't advance the plot/characterisation, or goes on for considerably longer than required to do so, then it is for titillation purposes, so IS porn. Not hardcore, but definitely porn

You could argue the nudity within the show is used as "sexposition", which is when a load of important information is needed to be told so they use nudity and boobs to keep the audience interested. Like in the scene where Littlefinger is revealing his childhood and goals, you see some lesbian sex going on. Because Littlefinger's story is longer than a minute and we have attention spans of gnat, the writers have obviously used sexual content within the scene to keep things interesting and so Littlefinger's characterisation advancements are not lost on the viewer. It actually happens quite a lot on Game of Thrones- whenever there's a long bit of "boring" information, the boobs are whacked out. But I wouldn't say its porn...because the nudity aims to keep viewers interested rather than simply exciting them (one may argue though its cheap and insulting...which it is).
I reckon sexposition would work on Doctor Who though if the two shows had a crossover. There's a lot of techno babble and info dumping in Moffat episodes...so whenever the Doctor is rambling on, the companion could get naked in the background just to keep the viewer interested whilst the Doctor is talking about boring timey-wimey science-y stuff.

How about a Lost crossover? Charles Widmore is actually The Master who is obsessed with the Island as he can use it as a TARDIS (the time travel wheel thing). And Penelope would obviously turn out to be The Rani. :cool:
Tremendous production values, generally sensational acting across the board, and I imagine having the author of the books on the writing team helps a very great deal.
