One minute we're inundated with what's happening in Iraq, the next, silence.
I find it disgraceful to be honest. Media propaganda at it's finest.

Do they need to behead another westerner, to keep you entertained?
Exactly.
Is it because our involvement has already turned into a shambles?
That just shows what absolute and utter monsters they are if it's true. There really is no limit to their evil actions.
They also have it in for Garibaldi biscuits. But doesn't everybody?
Crucifixions are a regular occurrence and always have been.

Whilst it's quiet - shall I book you in for the 'How to use Google News to find new news stories in one minute' course on Tuesday'?
It certainly is. Do you ever watch the news or read newspapers? Hardly a shambles if you bothered to find out. Oh it's on BBC world news right now AGAIN.
Etc. etc. etc. etc. world wide.
Easier to get an interview with Farage than with any ISIS spokesman.
Did they mean tabloids or TV reporting?
Quite a lot of last night's BBC R4 world service feed was spent covering it, and today's news has been similarly full. In fact BBC news is doing it now and has been for the last 10 minutes, Sky News has just finished one, 'Fox and Friends' covered it less than 15 minutes ago (followed by Ebola and now they're tapping along to REM 'End of the world' but whadd'ya expect ), France 24 is tickering a new story, and you can bet Al Jazeera TV have covered it in the past hour as it's 'News hour' ...
BTW - Reuters/Independent/Al Jazeera 'tabloids?
It's not worth journalists being captured so the BBC and have it's hourly headline and there is plenty of Arabic news covering it.
ISIS are sending in suicide in bombers to try and take out multiple Kurds at a time. their soldiers are beheading people, gang raping women and selling young girls in slavery.
Kobane is still be fought over but the Kurds have directing air strikes with to areas where IS are concentrated.
Kurdish women soldiers are taking out ISIS troops and then killing themselves if they get injured as the women don't want to be captured by IS militants.
In some respects we're better of not knowing.
Because while it is a serious situation that requires addressing our government treats it as a smokescreen to keep peoples minds off of other things locally (we are not hearing much about devo-max anymore either for example)
There is a definate crisis still but the smokescreen has served its purpose
I learnt everything I need to know about them in less than a hour.
Must be confusing for their letter heads.
Presumably that'll also fall off the front pages in an instant, like bird flu did.
