I've not heard anything myself, but it would be great news. I'm amazed Google stopped selling an affordable tablet after the 2013 Nexus 7.

Doing a bit of googling i discovered this article.

There could be something on the horizon.

The 2012 model is best forgotten. I don't use it at all now, and wouldn't even give it away. I don't hate anyone that much!

Google should pay compensation to people who bought one of these. Slow as molasses after the Android upgrade a few years back.

Received and downloaded the July Android security patch for Nexus 7 Wi-Fi 2013. Android 6.0.1, MOB30P.

Does anyone know if the Nexus 7 2013 will receive Android N?

Does anyone know how long the Android security patches are going to last for the Nexus 7 2013 seeing it won't be receiving Android Nougat 7.0?

I was hoping Google might announce a brand new 7-inch tablet but i don't think it's going to happen unless the announcement is further down the line.
