His accent is VERY VERY different in real life. My Mum and Dad's friends own a restaurant and a good few years ago Gino used to be the head chef there. Obviously after he got into tv work he quit, but the odd time he still goes back and cooks at the restaurant and has a laugh. He's a nice guy, but his real accent barely even sounds Italian and his personality isn't as big as it comes across on tv either.

    Thought as much lol:p

    What doe's everyone else think?:D

    Fake IMO.

He reminds me of an actor in a sitcom hamming up an Italian accent.

    Dreadful!

My friend's nonna still has her accent. (Italian in case you're wondering.)

Hell my grandad still had his Irish accent when he died, and he had lived here for 50 years at least.

TV bigwigs love an exaggerated accent

See Graham Norton, John Bishop, and Kevin Bridges
