i would have thought it would have to be a substantial tie up to facilitate proper streaming
super casino is the main sponsor so the prospect of 'a more permanent streaming facility ' seems distant right now
if viacom have ambitions in that area then maybe endemol could meet the challenge

yes I just hope Viacom take a fresh look at the format Richard Desmond selected and upgrade it. the EU models of the show work in places BB isn't even as big as here but they have better coverage.

the spin was already in the email "we have 10 hours of feed" its solely there for face saving purposes. But at least this time they replied normally you wont ever get a reply from Endemol.

So is there no live feed then?, not even online on a night like they did with CBB the other year?

I hope they find someone to partner with the live feed. Meanwhile the Channel 5 response isn't shown on the thread.

Richard desmond doesn't hang about once I get a reply will post asap.

Thing is with Viacom is there hasn't been a announcement yet that they fully own Channel 5.

well someone or something is stopping us from having live feed
if Endemol and Frow both want it and there is a demand for it
this just gets more ridiculous each year it rumbles on
really hope that with investment and knowledge of how BB works that Viacom will deliver

that's a question that no one at 5 is willing to answer unless you count jeff ford's effort of trying to bluff it out.

that's very true but for argument sake we're assuming it will happen
there seems very little that could stop the viacom deal going through
also it does seem likely to me that big brother will stay on 5 next year & beyond

It really is a great shame they didn't build on last year
I think other fans can be grateful Desmond never Acquired other shows apart from the Aussie soaps ;)

Horrible saying it but only way I can see it before this series ends.

    1. Richard Desmond and His online team find a way of making it happen.

2.Ratings start tanking so bad they take on board some of the things said and in fairness can see the point being made.

    3. Viacom takeover gets approved by Ofcom sometime mid series and they will want to improve the ratings for the smaller channels.

How much are you all willing to pay for a live feed of the whole series on the website?

My answer is £20 but that is a fair amount, Anything higher may exclude the poorer people.

Not really because, like last time they showed a bit that was barely even advertised, it would just be used as evidence that not enough people want it. Its only worth doing if it gets a big advertising campaign, like it used to on C4. To be honest, the only reason I even knew bb was on was because of an advert when I was watching neighbours. Other than that the hype, as misplaced as it is, has been virtually non existent.

It can be done for free no problem but if they wanted a charge 20 quid sounds about right.
